Head coach of the Tracey Neville’s has been named the Netball squad for the 2019 world cup which to be played from 12-21 July. In the Team List Veterans Geva Mentor, Jade Clarke and Rachel Dunn included for the Netball world cup.
Shooter Dunn, 36 who get back on the England netball line up with January’s Qad series as they recently miss out the Gold medal winning commonwealth games team.
Serena Guthrie named as captain for England Netball team in the world cup. defender Mentor and Clarke who both are playing the fifth world cup.
Win Attacks Chelsea Pitman and Natalie Haythornthwaite, and shooters Jo Harten and Helen Housby Who scored a winning goal for the netball team of England and Beat the Australia in the Gold Coast who all are pick in the squad.
Neville admitted that to pick the squad is really tough for him.
“The World Cup is a challenging competition due to its format and the potential opposition we could come up against,” she said.
“All of the players selected are at their physical peak and have shown through the international and Superleague season that they are able to consistently perform well under extreme pressure, which is crucial leading into July.”
England’s playing the first game of the netball world cup against Uganda on the opening day on Friday, 12 July at 19:00 BST.
