One of the star players of the England’s netball team of Beth Cobden who suffered a serious knee ligament injury and for that she will miss out the july’s Netball world cup 2019.
26 Years old Cobden who signed for the Australian outfit in the off season and won Commonwealth gold with the Roses last year but currently will undergo surgery.
“Missing her first chance to go to a World Cup is devastating,” said England coach Tracey Neville.
“Beth is an exceptional athlete and her contribution to our team over the last four years has been influential in the success of the Roses.
“We will do everything we can to ensure she is back on court soon.”
Head coach of the Adelaide Thuderbirds netball side Tania Obst said cobden will be missed in the upcoming season.
The attacker was ruled out for four weeks on 2 May.
